The host of this two-day gathering, where the new JRE guide for 2023 was also presented, was the <strong>Boutique Hotel San Rocco<\/strong> in Brtonigla. Chefs, sommeliers, olive oil producers, winemakers, distillers, and other high-quality food producers gathered, united by their shared focus on top-quality ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/DSC_5027-scaled-1-1024x683.webp\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/DSC_5027-scaled-1-1024x683.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8562\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/DSC_5027-scaled-1-1024x683.webp 1024w, https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/DSC_5027-scaled-1-300x200.webp 300w, https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/DSC_5027-scaled-1-768x512.webp 768w, https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/DSC_5027-scaled-1-1536x1024.webp 1536w, https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/DSC_5027-scaled-1-2048x1366.webp 2048w, https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/DSC_5027-scaled-1-600x400.webp 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the first day, we presented three different blends of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/extra-virgin-olive-oil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chiavalon extra virgin olive oil<\/a><\/strong> from the 2022 harvest to the chefs of JRE restaurants in Croatia. Sandi gave them a brief lecture and tasting, discussing flavours, aromas, and combinations that could accentuate the taste and aroma of dishes, and how the oil could complement different types of cuisine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the three samples, the first was of weaker intensity, the second of medium intensity, and the third with a pronounced bitter and spicy note. Chefs anonymously voted for sample number two, a <strong>blend of Bu\u017ea and Rosignola.<\/strong> This medium-intensity, highly aromatic oil that can enhance the flavour of any food will soon be available on the tables of <strong>JRE restaurants<\/strong> and in our olive oil mill in Vodnjan. We believe that this blend of extra virgin olive oil will further emphasize the culinary masterpieces that can be found on the menus of all <strong>JRE restaurants.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-03-10-at-10.28.40.webp\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-03-10-at-10.28.40.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8566\" srcset=\"https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-03-10-at-10.28.40.webp 1024w, https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-03-10-at-10.28.40-300x225.webp 300w, https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-03-10-at-10.28.40-768x576.webp 768w, https:\/\/chiavalon.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-03-10-at-10.28.40-600x450.webp 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The second day was devoted to the presentation of the <strong>JRE Guide 2023<\/strong>, tastings, introducing chefs to products from Croatian producers, cooking, and showcasing the impressive skills and talents of JRE chefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JRE &#8211; Jeunes Restaurateurs<\/strong> brings together over 350 restaurants and chefs in 15 countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. The energy among all these participants revolves around a passion for cooking, ingredients, and the inspiration they share. They place great emphasis on local, organic, and sustainable ingredients.
